The Stock Market: Opinions Vs. Reality
I don't do a lot of "stock market analysis". Sometimes I get emails from traders asking me which way the market is headed. Sorry, I'm not smart enough to know the answer to that question!
But you can find all kinds of opinions on TV, in magazines, and on stock market websites around the net. The problem? Everyone has a different opinion!
But, I decided that due to the recent volatility, I would go ahead and give my "expert stock market analysis" on the current state of the market!

Here it is...
The stock market is in an uptrend because it is making higher highs and higher lows. Until that changes, we are still in a bull market.
How's that for some good analysis!

Do You Keep a Trading Journal?
Today, I stumbled upon a great post by Toni Hansen titled, Creating and Managing a Trading Journal. She talks about how she creates and maintains a trading journal and how she organizes the information.
I used to keep detailed information about all of my trades. I printed out the charts, wrote notes on them, etc. But, I got a little lazy and stopped printing out my charts. Now I just use TradeTrakker to enter in my comments next to each trade.
But, after reading this article, I think I might stop being so lazy and get back to printing out my charts and reviewing my past trades more often.
